Bovada is basically Bodog,
actually no, it is Bodog, just with a different name.
Everything is the same, the software, and even the players
- yes, traffic is shared with Bodog too. Bovada offers a
decent bonus, although it is admittedly hard to clear the
whole thing unless you are a full time grinder. The
software is where a lot of people seem to find the most
problems. Forced anonymous tables, no hand histories, no
Poker Tracker/Hold'em Manager, only 4 cash tables at once
are just a few of the issues we have found. Not everyone
finds these to be a big issue, especially if you just play
for fun, but other than that, the software seems slick and
easy to use. The action is decent for a US site, although
don't expect PokerStars like traffic. Overall Bovada is a
good room for US players and we recommend them if you're
looking to play!
