Bellagio  702-693-7291

 

Considered the most elegant poker room in Las Vegas, the Bellagio is open 24 hours a day and spreads 7 card stud, and Holdem Poker.  Limits in Stud begin as low as $1-5 and in Holdem begin at $4-8.  Both games offer high limit stakes, “the sky is the limit” at their player’s requests.  The Bellagio offers one $15 comp for food and beverage a week to its local players.  For a minimum of 6 hours of play per day, discounted hotel poker rates are offered at approximately $129 Sun – Thurs and $199 Fri and Saturday for their out of town players.    Contact Karen or Penny for reservations. Room rates are discounted further for their special tournaments.  The Bellagio is a non-smoking poker room.

 

Boulder Station – 702-432-7577

 

Located on the southeast side of the strip, Boulder Station is a popular poker room for Las Vegas locals.   They spread Texas Holdem $4-8 with a ½ kill, 7 Card Stud $1-5, and one of the few Las Vegas poker rooms that spread Omaha HI $4-8 with ½ Kill. The Station Casinos offer a Bad Beat Jackpot that is shared with all of their casinos.  This jackpot starts at $100,000.   Players receive food and beverage comps at the rate of approximately $1 hour, with their Boarding Pass cards. This per hour rate accumulates allowing you to build up your ‘bucks’ for a gourmet room dinner if you choose. Out of town players can get $15.00 off the regular hotel rate by calling the poker room in advance of their stay. Smoking is allowed in the Boulder Station poker room.

 

Golden Nugget – 702-386-8383

 

Located downtown, The Golden Nugget has always been a top class hotel, and now they have a beautiful top class card room.   Daily tournaments keep this poker room full, and their live games always have plenty of action.  Each day they spread $2-4, and $4-8 Holdem, as well as a $1-2 No Limit game.   Complimentary comps accumulate after playtime of four hours, and special room rates may be requested from the poker room shift manager after 4 hours of play.   Often special promotions are offered such as their January Poker Room T Shirt, which is awarded to any player making a hand of 4 of a kind or better.     The Golden Nugget is a non-smoking poker room.

 

Horseshoe – 702-366-7397

 

The World famous Horseshoe casino, home of the infamous World Series of Poker, is located in downtown Las Vegas.   Games at this poker room, run strong 24 hours a day.  They spread Texas Holdem $2-4, $4-8, $10-20, Seven Card Stud $1-5 and Omaha Hi-Lo $4-8.  Live  No Limit Texas Holdem games are spread daily.   Poker players can receive a $6 food and beverage comp after a couple of hours of play.   Room rates for players are $25 in the East side, and $35 for a slightly bigger room on the west side of the hotel.  Smoking is allowed in the Horseshoe poker room.

 

Mandalay Bay – 702-632-7790

 

Beautiful and comfortable, the Mandalay Bay poker room is a favorite of many.  Located next to their fabulous sports book, this room is the kind you want to spend the entire day in.  Mandalay Bay’s room is open 24 hours/day, and spreads Seven Card Stud $1-5, 4-8, and $2-10.  Texas Holdem games are $4-8 ½ kill, $6-12 ½ kill, and $10-20.  They also have a $3-6 Omaha Hi-Lo game.   Mandalay Bay offers several players jackpots for 4 of a kind, straight flushes and Royal flushes.  A $5.00 food and beverage coupon is offered for 4 hours of play per day.   Out of town players may contact any shift boss for special poker room rates.  Note, the reservations must be made through the poker room to receive the rate.  Smoking is not allowed in the Mandalay Bay poker room

 

Mirage -   702-791-7291

 

Located in the heart of the Mirage casino, this poker room stays busy constantly.  Famous for their evening tournaments, they also spread Stud $1-5 up to $15-30, Holdem $3-6 up to as high as $40-80, and Omaha $5-10 up to $20-40.  Their high limit games are always busy, and their tournaments sell out most evenings.   Player food and beverage comps are available for extended play, and casino rates for hotel rooms are offered for 6 hrs of play Sun – Thurs and 8 hours of play on weekends.  Rates typically are $85 Sun-Thur and $119 Fri and Sat.  The Mirage poker room is a non-smoking room.

 

Monte Carlo – 702-730-7780

 

Surrounded by fine art and dark wood, the Monte Carlo poker room is among the most elegant rooms in Las Vegas.   This room dedicates itself to the new poker player, offering poker lessons every day at 9am,and 2pm.   Games spread include $1-5 Stud, $1-4-8 Texas Holdem and $2-4 Holdem.  Progressive jackpots pay players for showing hands of 4 of a kind or better.  The Monte Carlo offers a $6.00 food and beverage comp for 4 hours of play, and discounted room rates are available for 5 hours of play daily, when booked through the poker room.  The Monte Carlo is a smoking room.

 

The Orleans – 702-365-7150

 

Located on the west side of the Las Vegas Strip, the Orleans Poker room remains one of the top rated tournament poker rooms, running two large tournaments every day of the week at noon and 7pm.   In addition to tournaments, The Orleans spreads Texas Holdem, $2-4, 4-8, 6-12, 10-20.  Omaha Hi-Lo 4-8, and $1-5 Stud.   They offer bad beat jackpots on all three of their games.  The Orleans has a special poker card that players swipe at the beginning and end of their play.  They earn $1.25 for the first four hours of play, and .50 per hour after that each 24-hour period.  Discounted room rates are available through the poker room.  Make your standard reservation, then have the poker room adjust it, after you have played there.  Room rates are approximately $45 Mon-Thurs and $75 Fri and Saturday.  For most of the day, The Orleans is a non-smoking room.  Smoking is allowed on the 3am to 9am shift.

 

Palace Station – 702-367-2453

 

Located on the West side of I-15, across from the Strip, Palace Station is part of the popular family of Station Casinos.   Sharing in their $100,000 Bad Beat jackpots for Holdem and Stud, they also spread Texas Holdem $2-4, 4-8 with a ½ kill.  Omaha Hi-Lo 36 with a ½ kill and the occasional Stud 1-5 game.   Comps are offered at approximately $1 per hour, on the Stations boarding pass card.  This per hour rate accumulates allowing you to build up your ‘bucks’ for a gourmet room dinner if you choose.  Out of town players can get special poker room rates by calling the Poker room prior to your stay.  Rates are approximately $30 for the courtyard, $40 for the Tower, Monday –Thursday, and $40-50 on Friday and Saturday.  Palace Station is a smoking room, but all second tables started are non-smoking tables.

   

The Plaza – 702-386-2110

 

The Plaza reopened their Poker Room in 2004, and we are so glad they did.  The management at the Plaza Poker Room are determined to take this room to the top of tournament poker.   New and innovative ideas spring forth daily from this management team.  The first and most exciting was the introduction of their Midnight tournaments!  Currently the ONLY casino in town offering them, these have become so popular, they may soon be selling out!    Including this midnight tournament, The Plaza now hosts 4 daily tournaments  each and every day.   Again, this is a first for Las Vegas Poker Rooms.   Player comps are generous and are there for the asking.  Special room rates for poker players are also available.  

   

Sahara – 702-737-2317 

 

Located on the North side of Las Vegas Blvd, this card room advertises the easiest bad beat holdem jackpot to win in Las Vegas.   Aces full of anything beat by Aces full of anything!  The Sahara spreads an unstructured 1-4-8 Texas Holdem game, with only one $2 blind and is a great game for beginners. 20 Hours of play will get you a free buy in to their weekly Wed or Sunday night No Limit Holdem tournament.  They also spread 7 card stud $1-5.  For 3 hours of play, a $4.00 food and beverage comp is available and special room rates for poker players may be received by contacting the poker room manager.   Sahara is a smoking room. 

 

Sam’s Town – 702-454-8092

 

Located on the East side of the city off of Boulder Hwy, this poker room stays busy 24/7.  Sam’s Town spreads Texas Holdem $2-4, and $4-8 with ½ kill.  Omaha 3-6 Hi-Lo with ½ kill and $1-5 Stud.  They also offer a Bad Beat jackpot on all 3 games.  Monthly specials are offered for so many hours of play, and special tournaments are often held for players that put in a set amount of hours.  Four-dollar food comps are offered for 3 hours of poker play, and special discounted poker room rates are available by contacting the poker room manager.  Sam’s Town is a smoking poker room.
